What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at The Mather?
We’re seeking a full-time Line Cook who can do it all—with a working knowledge of both a la carte and batch cooking techniques, as well as restaurant and rotational style menus. Our culinary team serves timely, quality meals in multiple restaurants within our senior living residence. The schedule for this position is primarily afternoon/evening shifts (ending by 9:00/9:30pm). Sunday morning, weekends and holidays availability required.

The Mather is a Life Plan Community for those age 62 and better. Our staff of professionals is committed to providing excellent service and a warm atmosphere for residents, visitors, and staff. The Mather is in Evanston, Illinois, close to downtown and public transportation. The Mather includes 240 independent living apartment homes, as well as assisted living, memory care, long-term care, and rehabilitation services, along with multiple restaurants, a fitness center, art studio, gardens, and more.
The Mather is located at 425 Davis Street in Evanston.
