Our P6 Project Scheduler works as an integral part of the Project Team, supporting the team through thorough and accurate scheduling of large-scale, complex projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Procore and Primavera P6, with a strong understanding of commercial construction and public projects.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop, maintain and updated project schedules using Primavera P6 software
- Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect actual progress and any changes to project scope, schedule and resources.
- Identify schedule risks and propose mitigation strategies to ensure project delivery within the required timeframe
- Collaborate with project managers, field leadership and other stakeholders to integrate project schedules and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives
- Provide regular schedule updates and reports to project stakeholders to facilitate project decision-making and communication
- Participate in project planning and scheduling meetings to provide technical input and guidance on schedule-related matters
- Analyze project schedule data to identify trends, issues and opportunities for improvement
- Provide training and guidance to project teams on P6 scheduling techniques and best practices
- Ensure compliance with project scheduling policies, procedures and standards
- Maintain project documentation related to scheduling activities

Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or Engineering
- Proficiency with both Procore and Primavera P6 required for this role
- 7-10 years commercial construction experience; Minimum of 5 years as project scheduler
- Specific experience scheduling and/or managing public projects
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen
- Must possess a current and valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties the employee is regularly required to make use of close vision to read engineering blueprints and reduced size black and white drawings, specifications, fine print, reports, schedules, estimates, spreadsheets, summaries, and other documents in either hard copy or computer monitor. Must be able to converse on the telephone and in person, use hands and fingers to write and type, prepare email messages with attached files, and use personal computers and calculators. The employee will periodically need to lift and/or carry heavy documents such as specifications and/ or equipment, weighing up to seventy-five pounds.
