Line Cook

The Musubi Truck in Kalapaki is looking for a Line Cook to join our upbeat and positive team. We are located on Rice Street near Anchor Cove.

Our ideal candidate is ambitious, reliable, honest, and a self-starter. We are looking for a team member who is punctual and finds genuine pride in what they do and how it affects others. We aim to heighten our work environment where everyone works well together and feels their best!

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory
• Keep a clean and tidy work area
• Accommodate other staff members to work efficiently together
• Multitask and remain focused
• Clean up workstation and close up efficiently

Qualifications

• Cooking experience or kitchen experience preferred
• Able to meet all scheduling commitments
• Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic mathematical skills
• Multitasking skills
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• A positive and persevering attitude
