Florist/Cashier/ delivery driver

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers. If you have excellent communication skills, a valid driver's license, and a passion for providing exceptional service, we want to hear from you.

Duties:
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customer locations
- Load and unload items from the delivery vehicle
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Collect payments from customers, if required
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure

Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service or delivery roles is preferred
- Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns is an asset
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Experience with cash handling is desirable

Skills:
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive delivery experience
- Knowledge of lawn care or gardening is beneficial for certain deliveries
- Basic understanding of retail math for cash handling purposes
- Ability to operate a cash register, if required
- Excellent organizational skills to manage delivery schedules and routes

Pay: $16.79 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
