Basic Responsibilities
- Perform light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and other assistant handyman tasks as required
- Responsible for the cleanliness, repair, and trash and recycling removal of all items on specified floors of the building
- Cleaning will consist of all offices, common areas, restrooms, and event spaces
- Maintain the general cleanliness of all buildings and grounds, including front of building and doors
- Inspection of any light fixtures that are out and replace any bulbs, etc.
- Coordinating set-up and clean-up for all meetings and special events, including lifting tables and placing chairs.
- Assist with delivery of furniture and supplies to the building.
- Accommodate staff requests for maintenance services as instructed by supervisor
- Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience
- Working knowledge of policies and procedures relevant to the job function
- A familiarization with local, state, and federal regulations governing buildings in NYC
- 3-5 years of maintenance staff/mechanic experience required
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
