Job Requisition #: 025792 General Laborer (Open) Job Description: Position Responsibilities: Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Consistently demonstrates and incorporates principals of safety for self and others into daily activities. Attends required safety training and participates in emergency drills and exercises. Reports all safety and quality problems to the Production leads or Production Manager. Sort materials, such as paper or plastics, into appropriate piles for further processing. Remove all foreign materials, such as metals, wood, and plastics, depositing materials into collection bins Stack and band pallets and Gaylords per requirements of facility May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned. Essential skills and experience: Ability to show up for all scheduled shifts Reliable Transportation Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk/bend/ lift continuously and perform physical tasks Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions. Ability to work independently or in a group.
