What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Director position at The Orchards at Roseville?

What you would be doing: 

You would play a key role in the resident’s experience through the upkeep of the facility, including the building, building systems and the grounds.  Use your technical and leadership skills to monitor, coordinate and/or perform building maintenance, services and repairs, to develop and lead your staff, and to manage your budget, equipment, and other resources. You will play a key role in the safety program of the facility. 

 

What your work schedule would be: 

Your work hours are based during the traditional business week but requires the flexibility to attend to on-demand facility needs either on or off site, as needed.    

 

The successful candidate: 

  • Preferably has a high school diploma or equivalent. 

  • Has a minimum or two (2) years physical plant and equipment experience in an institutional environment with supervisory or management responsibilities. 

  • Current knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations that apply to practice of laundry and housekeeping work in long term care. 

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; oral and written communication skills.
