What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance Specialist position at The Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic, P.A.?
Responsible for making sure all claims and payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner, including necessary follow-up and inquiry with the insurance payer. Assist patients with billing questions in a courteous and professional manner. Responsible for processing patient payments and completing employment-related leave of absence paperwork. Must be willing to assist in all aspects of the Business Office.
Qualifications:
One to two years of experience with medical billing and claims processing preferred.
Schedule:
Our office is open 8 am to 5 pm Monday - Friday.
