What are the responsibilities and job description for the Qualified Mental Health Professional - C or A position at The Outreach Foundation?
We are currently looking for candidates that are already registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling.
You must meet the following for The following Qualified Mental Health Professional (Adult and/or Child)
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:
- An individual with at least a bachelor's degree in human services or related field (social work, psychology, psychiatric rehabilitation, sociology, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, human services counseling or other degree deemed equivalent to those described) from an accredited college AND;
- one year of clinical experience providing direct services.
Intensive In-Home and Mental Health Skill Building
Services as follows: coordination and oversight of initial and ongoing assessment activities; initial development and ongoing revision of ISP; monitoring of implementation of ISP. The QMHP shall provide therapeutic services that involve but are not limited to; anger management, skill building, coping techniques, communication skills, problem solving and independent living skills. The QMHP shall provide therapeutic intervention and coordinate individual and/or family counseling.
Supervision shall be provided by the Clinical Director
DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum standard is a daily service note that outlines the intervention and outcome of each session. Initial and quarterly Service Plan updates.
