What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fire Extinguisher Technician position at The Paint and Safety Store?
This position will entail inspecting, installing, testing, and recharging portable fire extinguishers. You must be able to physically lift 60lbs, repetitively. Candidates should also be self motivated.
Travel to customer sites to perform inspections, maintenance and repairs of fire extinguishers.
Service, test, repair and install fire extinguishers.
Prepare documents such as work orders and sales tickets accurately.
Candidate must posses a Class A, B, or K fire extinguisher license from the state of Texas.
Good mechanical skills, and the ability to work with your hands are a requirement. Candidates must have a valid driver license, with a clean driving record. Any other licenses you may need later will be covered by the employer. This position does require some early morning work.
Monday-Friday, 8-5, Weekends Off, Paid Holiday and Vacation, Insurance Provided, plus Bonuses.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
