Mandarin/Cantonese Speaker

The Pavilion at Queens Rehabilitation & Nursing is looking for an energetic, responsible and compassionate individual to join our dynamic recreation team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist residents to and from a variety of activities.
• Create and implement and activity calendar that meets the needs of the residents on the unit.
• Participate in resident centered events such as birthdays, bingo, trivia, crafts and a variety of other group activities.
• Accurately document in clinical charts and daily attendance. Experience is a must.
• Perform other duties under the direction of the Direction of recreation as needed.

• Responsible and reliable.
• Comfortable working with a senior population.
• Positive, cheerful and helpful attitude.
• Work well as a member of a team.
• Attention to detail.
• Weekend and holiday availability.
• Prior recreation experience preferred.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Cantonese or Mandarin required
