JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Mont Alto has Lecturer positions (part-time) in various disciplines.
Subjects may include, but are not limited to:
- Anthropology
- Criminal Justice
- English (writing/composition)
- Finance
- History
- Intro Accounting
- Intro Spanish
- Math
- Speech
- Statistics
- Various Business Topics
Duties include teaching one to three undergraduate level courses(1-3 credits each; up to a maximum of 9 credits per semester) each spring and/or fall semester depending on expertise and needs. Additional duties may vary by assignment.
Masters or equivalent experience/qualifications required in the discipline for which you are applying (or closely related field) required; one or more of the following preferred: teaching experience, Ph.D.
Teaching assignments may require teaching day, evening, or weekend classes, as needed. Most teaching assignments will require in-person instruction, with occasional opportunities for remote teaching. Teaching assignments may require teaching day, evening, or weekend classes, depending on needs for the class being taught.
