Boarding Team Member

The Pet Station Country Club is an upscale pet resort in Louisville. We are looking for self-motivated, positive, animal lovers to join our Boarding Team. The Boarding Team is responsible for the direct care of our daily and overnight animal visitors; but it involves a lot more than that. We are the stand-in pet parents for our furry guests during their time with us, so it's our job to ensure that they are loved and cared for like our own from the time we clock in, until the time we clock out. This is a fast-paced environment that relies heavily on open communication and constant teamwork.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Daily care of assigned animals (including feeding, watering, giving potty breaks, conducting any additional services)
• Following directions (verbal and nonverbal, with and without supervision)
• Safely handling multiple animal families
• Cleaning continuously using the cleaners and equipment provided
• Treating animals with compassion, respect, and love
• Treating team members with kindness and respect
• Being self-motivated to complete assigned tasks with little oversight
• Multitasking in a fast paced environment
• Communicating effectively with peers and leadership
• Handling dogs and cats of all sizes and breeds

The ideal candidate is someone who is:

• Punctual and responsible, shows up to assigned shifts ready to work!
• Comfortable working with animals of all sizes and breeds
• Comfortable moving and standing for long periods of time
• Comfortable safely lifting objects of pets weighing at least 60 lbs
• Comfortable with spending the majority of some of their work shifts cleaning
  
• Interested in working interdependently in a team environment
• Positive and passionate about caring for animals!
