The Role: BHH Partners is seeking a Project Designer to support our architecture team in crafting high-end residential and commercial projects. In this role, you’ll assist with design development, drawing production, and project documentation while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Design Collaboration: Work closely with the architectural team to develop and refine building designs
- Technical Drafting: Create detailed plans, drawings, and documentation using CAD tools and manual techniques
- 3D Visualization: Assist in producing 3D models for design development and client presentations
- Client Interaction: Participate in meetings to discuss design goals and communicate visual concepts
- Code Compliance: Ensure all design work meets applicable building codes, zoning laws, and regulations
- Cross-Disciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, builders, and consultants to align design intent and technical requirements
- Trend Awareness: Stay informed on new materials, construction methods, and architectural design trends
Qualifications:
- Experience in architectural design or a related field preferred
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent tools
- Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and approval processes
- Strong drafting and conceptual design skills with sharp attention to detail
- Effective communication and visual presentation abilities
