As a Store Manager, you will empower your team to achieve outstanding operational results, while delivering outstanding customer service. Pittsburgh Paints Company is hiring a motivated Store Manager. You will report to the Operations Manager and work on-site 100% of the time in Albany, GA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales and profit plan by controlling expenses, working capital, inventory, shrinkage, and growing net contribution.
- Focus on customer service by ensuring that high service standards are maintained.
- Resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain a high level of associate engagement through leadership by training, mentoring, motivating, and resolving associate issues.
- Maintain understanding of local market, operations-based selling, and customer base.
- Ensure that the appearance of the store's exterior and interior, including merchandizing displays, are maintained to required standards.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent certification with 1 years of retail store experience required.
- Knowledge of application and use of paint and sundries is favorable.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite and Internet applications required.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and hours, minimum 45 hours required per week; must have a valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds infrequently and 40-60 pounds daily.
- Must consent to a background investigation, drug screen, and motor vehicle record check.
