Parts Counter Associate Mower Shop

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and supporting various operational tasks within our automotive environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a background in automotive service, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of support and expertise. Pay will be based on experience.

Duties

• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Conduct automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
• Manage inventory control processes, including stocking shelves, order fulfillment, and maintaining accurate records using CMMS.
• Utilize POS systems for cash handling, retail sales transactions, and cashiering duties.
• Engage in effective negotiation techniques to enhance sales management efforts.
• Support marketing initiatives to promote products and services within the dealership environment.
• Maintain organized workspaces and adhere to safety protocols while performing maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals and improve overall efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive repair or service is preferred, with knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and retail math for inventory management and reporting purposes.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Familiarity with dealership operations, including inventory management and retail sales practices.
• Demonstrated ability in cash handling procedures and phone etiquette when interacting with customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.12 - $24.23 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
