What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Set Up position at The Queensbury Hotel?
The Queensbury Hotel is located in the heart of Glens Falls, conveniently on the bus line. It is a Historic Hotel property and is the oldest standing hotel in the city.
Event Set Up:
This jobs primary responsibility is to set up and breakdown event spaces.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs, move furniture, staging, etc and breakdown the room after the event is complete.
-Largely PM based schedule, but must be flexible with changes due to business levels
-Able to maintain a physically demanding work load
-Able to read, understand, coordinate event orders
-Able to uphold an established set up schedule and game plan
-Must understand and execute directive
-Previous Experience preferred.
This job is also tip based.
*This is not an event coordinator position. This is a position that requires the set up and break down of tables, chairs, AV, etc.*
