Infusion Paramedic

**Job Summary:** Experienced paramedic sought to administer IV infusions and IM injections in a mental health care environment, requiring strong communication and organizational skills. The Float Infusion Paramedic will work between Burnsville and Hudson, with a variable schedule of 0.5-1.0 FTE. The role involves administering prescribed medications and therapies via IV infusion, conducting patient assessments, and maintaining accurate documentation. **Key Responsibilities:** * Administer IV infusions and IM injections of ketamine under physician or nurse practitioner supervision * Conduct patient assessments to determine suitability for infusion therapy * Collaborate with team members, including psychiatrists, therapists, and office staff * Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of infusion therapy * Monitor patient vital signs and provide medical intervention in emergency situations * Follow established treatment and office procedures **Required Skills and Abilities:** * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong problem-solving and organizational skills * Ability to exercise independent judgment * Valid Paramedic Certification/License * One year of IV starting experience * Experience in a mental health care environment preferred **Physical Requirements:** * Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer * Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times **Benefits:** * Paid Time Off * Holiday Pay * Medical Insurance * Health Savings Account * Dental Insurance * Vision Insurance * 401(k) with Employer Match * Life Insurance and AD&D * Short-Term Disability **Job Type:** Full-time **Pay:** $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
