In-House Attorney

Job Description

The Reynolds and Reynolds Company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated In-House Attorney to join our dynamic legal team at our office in Tallahassee, Florida. As a trusted legal advisor within our organization, this role requires a strong background in reviewing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and contract provisions, a deep understanding of the Driver's Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) and DMV-specific legislation, and the ability to navigate legal matters with precision and expertise. Responsibilities include:

• Review, draft, and negotiate NDAs and contract provisions to protect the best interests of the company.
• Provide legal guidance and support on various business transactions and agreements.
• Ensure compliance with the Driver's Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) and DMV-specific legislation.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues affecting the company.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in the state of Florida
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a corporate attorney preferred, in-house counsel experience is a plus
• Proficient knowledge of NDAs and contract law
• Knowledge of the Driver's Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) and DMV-specific legislation is preferred
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
