The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for promoting capital medical equipment and clinical products to existing, and prospective accounts within his/her assigned territory.
Travel and Schedule Requirements: This is a full-time position. The main office hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM but you will be in charge of your own day-to-day schedule. Travel is primarily within the assigned territory although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for nurturing and maintaining relationships with customers and external vendors within an established territory.
- Listens to customer needs and suggests appropriate equipment/product solutions.
- Seeks opportunities to increase relationships with existing accounts/facilities.
- Conducts regular sales calls in person or by phone to develop customer relationships and follow up on leads.
- Enters tasks, phone calls, and customer information, into CRM- TigerPaw.
- Makes sales presentations and provides Clinical In-Service of equipment/products to prospective customers.
- Creates and maintains all quotes and support documentation with accurate pricing and configurations.
- Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of sales function within their territory.
- Meets established quotas and sales goals.
- Forecasts account sales and product needs; communicates related information regularly to management.
- Responsible for other assignments by supervisors such as: assisting with the Sales department on developments, completing day-to-day responsibilities, documenting all necessary projects, etc.
Education/Experience:
- A high school diploma is required.
- College degree or certification preferred.
- At least 2 years of Sales experience preferred.
- Clinical experience preferred. (RN, LPN, PT)
Technical Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of capital medical equipment products is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Teams.
- Frequently uses vehicles either owned or rented by the company.
- Daily use of laptop, printer, and/or scanner.
Skills/Abilities:
- Highly motivated, self-starter.
- Strong interpersonal, oral presentation skills
- Able to maintain a professional appearance.
- Excellent sales abilities, well-organized and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
