What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Staff position at The Risher Companies?
The Risher Companies (Memorial City Club) is looking for a part time staff member to work in a corporate luxury fitness facility located in the Memorial City area. The facility includes an array of fitness equipment offerings, virtual group fitness, and fully-stocked locker rooms with an array of amenities. The primary duties will include the following:
- Greet all patrons when they enter the facility
- Operate, oversee, and manage, daily attendance via computer and attendance software
- Provide customer service to patrons with a positive, helpful attitude, and energetic personality
- Keep the facility clean and organized at all times
- Maintain and oversee the towels and the many amenities in locker rooms (e.g. stock towels, deodorant, shower soap/shampoo, etc.)
- Process membership paperwork and take necessary payments
- Help patrons out in any way possible and provide an enjoyable fitness atmosphere
- Complete any additional duties as assigned
The facility is open Monday through Friday 5:30am-8pm and Saturday 8am-12pm. Working hours can fall anywhere between the hours of operation. The pay rate is $10.00 per hour. Black fitness attire and uniform shirt required.
Preferred Applicant Requirements (education, skills, licenses, etc.)
- 1 years of work experience in a customer service environment
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to effectively communicate in person and over the phone
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Well groomed and professional fitness appearance
- High School Diploma
