The Royal Group, an affiliate of Schwarz Partners, is currently seeking a Preventative Maintenance Associate for our weekend shift to support our Seymour, IN facility. As a Preventative Maintenance Associate, you will be responsible for performing operational preventative maintenance functions across various machine centers to keep machine prepared for continuous operations during normal business hours
Weekend Shift Maintenance Hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6am-6:30pm (work 36 hours and be paid for 40 hours).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:
- Clean/Remove ink from Print & impression cylinders
- Clean/Remove ink from catch pans, hoses, and end caps
- Clean/maintain ink chamber and doctor blade assembly for all sections
- Safely change doctor blades and install with accuracy
- Assess and change die cut cylinder inserts
- Keep and report accurate inventory on wear items
- Change/replace worn out stacker belts
- Maintain cell volume by cleaning anilox roll via scrub mat or hand scrubbing
- Ensure ink pumps are functional and clean
- Practice safe work habits at all times
- Attend all plant safety meetings
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping
- Ability to work overtime as the job requires
- Additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred that employees have prior work experience in the corrugated industry or other 2-4 years’ work experience
- May be required to maintain a current Forklift Operator License and/or other appropriate certification to work in certain areas or on certain equipment
- Ability to add, to subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to use tape measure; and to use a computer.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees of the organization.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
