Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus. The employee must have the ability to operate a telephone, desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.

Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Two years of experience as a line cook or equivalent formal training.
- Ability to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Posses or be willing to obtain a Food Handlers Permit
- Maintain the standards set by the Executive Chef
- Confer with the Executive Chef regarding the methods, quantities and procedures used in the preparation of food items.
- Maintain production schedules to ensure both timely service and quality of product.
- Observe and implement all approved sanitation practices.
- Oversee that deliveries from purveyors coincide with the purchase order.
- Report any unsafe or unsanitary conditions in the kitchen or dining room.
- Provide coverage and supervision of clients in the absences of the Dining Facility Manager
- Provide the Executive Chef with input regarding clients work therapy assignment evaluations.
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef
