Position Human Resource Assistant
Department Divisional Human Resources Department, 701 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia
Availability of Position Immediate
Schedule Full Time; 35 hours per week
Reporting Relationship Directly HR Director; Indirectly Assistant HR Director and General Secretary
Salary and Grade $25.00-$26.00 per hour depending on education and experience; 77 Non-Exempt

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related field required. Applicant must have at least two to three years of prior experience working with a large HRIS system; experience using Ceridian Dayforce is a must, knowledge of UKG Pro helpful. Candidate must be an advanced user of MS Word and MS Excel. Experience auditing and manipulating large-scale data. Comfortable with formulas and features in MS Excel such as pivot tables, vlookup, filters, subtotals. Candidate must have proven attention to detail and ability to perform work with a high level of accuracy and care. Must have a sensitivity for safeguarding the confidential information of applicants and employees maintained in the Human Resources Department. The successful candidate must be a detail oriented, analytical, logical thinker, and must be a motivated self-starter who can work in an environment with multiple, changing work priorities, and must be able to work within those deadlines. Must possess an understanding of and support for mission of The Salvation Army is required. Child Protection Clearances PA Act 153 requires that all prospective employees complete the following clearance and background checks PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check.
