The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Full-Time Customer Specialist. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing expert guidance, product information, and support to ensure a seamless and positive experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction: Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email, answering questions about products, pricing, and services.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our product lines, including specifications, applications, and current inventory, with a specific focus on specialty coatings and resinous flooring.
- Order Processing: Accurately process customer orders, create invoices, and coordinate with the warehouse team for order fulfillment.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, lead qualification, and follow-up communication.
- Showroom Maintenance: Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and well-stocked with current samples and marketing materials.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service, retail, or sales role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine interest or prior experience in the specialty coatings, concrete, or construction industry is a significant bonus.
