As an ESE Teacher you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and emotional
development of students with exceptionalities. You will work closely with students, their families, and other educators to create individualized learning plans and ensure that all students have the opportunity to thrive academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with exceptionalities.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educators, therapists, and support staff to meet students' diverse needs.
Adapt curriculum materials and teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and growth.
Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to address specific learning goals.
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in ESE education.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Valid teaching certification in Special Education (ESE) from an accredited institution.
Previous experience working with students with exceptionalities.
Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
