Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as LEA representative and facilitator for domain and eligibility meetings using a Facilitated IEP (FIEP) model that promotes parent-friendly, strengths-based conversations.
  • Lead reevaluations and initial evaluations (40 anticipated throughout the year); support data collection and analysis in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Attend and contribute to MTSS meetings and student success problem-solving teams, helping determine need for case study or intervention adjustments.
  • May serve as 504 Case Manager for students with learning-related needs.
  • Collaborate weekly with special education teams and building-level interventionists to support student progress and program alignment.
  • Use Embrace for documentation and reporting; contribute to team-based report writing using a shared report template.

  • Special education coordinators serve as LEAs for annual reviews—school psychologists are not expected to attend those meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with social workers, special educators, and interventionists for FBAs, BIPs, and student behavior supports (psychologist contributes, but SW leads BIP work).

Ideal Candidate
