About the Role
- Azure Data Lake Gen 2
- Azure Synapse Analytics / Azure Data Factory
- Apache Spark (Databricks is a plus), Delta Lakehouse, Data Lakehouse, MPP Data Warehouses
- Microsoft Fabric & Power BI (including tenant administration)
- Analyzes system and integration requirements by understanding business needs, troubleshooting, determining root cause, and lead the design, modification and changes to system specifications.
- Leads the development, testing, and documentation activities according to specifications, standards and system requirements in order to accomplish ideal business results and end to end connectivity of data and systems.
- Lead in the design of software system testing and validation procedures including unit testing, scenario testing and end to end testing
- Lead others to implement best practices on integrated solutions for complex problems enabling defined business process
- Identify appropriate risks associated with system changes and lead in ensuring proper scheduling, documentation, and implementation in accordance with defined business processes.
- Manages and monitors systems for the organization and ensures alignment with company guidelines and SOPs.
- Responds to system failures and performance events by taking appropriate measures to reduce system downtime and eliminate recurrence of problems with continuous improvement mindset.
- Collaborate with others by working across boundaries to ensure best practices solutions are developed. Partner with suppliers and technology providers on innovative solves for complex business issues.
- Conduct proactive ongoing and periodic scans of emerging technologies. Mentor other team members in professional development.
