Position Overview:
The Select Global Grains and Oilseeds (SGGO) business unit is responsible for implementing strategies across product lines to deliver industry leading supply chain solutions to our customers around the world. SGGO’s diverse portfolio of people, assets and robust product expertise provide the critical mass to thrive in the dynamic international container marketplace and achieve shared goals within the division and enterprise.
SGGO is seeking qualified candidates for a Merchandiser Assistant position that will actively collaborate with team members and support business operations. The Merchandiser Assistant will lead with a customer service-oriented approach in daily communications with supply chain stakeholders. He or she will be expected to approach prescribed work from a perspective of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a desire to lead and champion changes that deliver positive outcomes for the business. Job Responsibilities:
Partner with merchandisers to provide timely and accurate records for commodity and freight positions. Assist the merchandisers with weekly P&L reporting
Manage relationships with producer customers and vendors to process payments with clearly defined expectations
Maintain an organized digital filing system which includes invoices, contracts, report and payment receipts
Manage 3rd party inventory positions and reconciliations.
Analyze business reports to identify any anomalies and take corrective action (accounts receivable, open tickets, freight register)

Requirements
Minimum:
High school diploma or GED
