What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at The Shad Group?
The Corporate Controller will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations including month end close, general ledger activities, developing processes and procedures, processing payroll, preparation of financial statements, and budgeting and forecasting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Financial Reporting & Close: Manage the full month-end close process, including general ledger oversight, journal entry review, balance sheet reconciliations, and the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages.
- Intercompany Management: Lead the reconciliation of all intercompany accounts, perform necessary transfers, and manage eliminating entries to ensure accurate consolidation.
- Process Improvement: Establish and review financial policies and procedures to create best practices and improve operational efficiency.
- System Implementation: Play a key role in the selection and implementation of a new ERP system to replace QuickBooks.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee Accounts Payable and Purchase Orders, while proactively identifying solutions to enhance financial operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8 years of accounting and leadership experience, preferably in a healthcare provider with multiple offices
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent
- Intercompany transaction experience
- Experience with QuickBooks online and prior ERP conversion experience (Sage Intacct or NetSuite)
Salary : $160,000 - $175,000
