Position Overview
We are seeking an Experienced Sign Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sign types, sign construction and sign estimation and upselling strategies. This role requires someone with excellent communication skills, industry knowledge, and a consultative approach to guiding clients toward the best marketing and signage solutions for their businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
Consult with clients to understand their marketing and signage needs and recommend the best solutions. You must have experience in order to discuss the options available.
Conduct site surveys and coordinate with design and production teams.
Prepare estimates, proposals, and contracts.
Close sales and meet revenue goals.
Stay up to date on industry trends, materials, and installation methods.
Work collaboratively with project managers to ensure smooth execution.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in marketing and sign sales (electrical and non-electrical signage preferred).
Strong understanding of signage materials, permitting, and installation processes.
Ability to read blueprints and prepare quotes.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of closing deals.
Basic knowledge of design software (Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator) is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for client meetings.
