About the job:

In this role, the Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for handling sourced leads, prospecting, and nurturing leads into new client accounts. You will develop our sales pipeline by identifying rising business opportunities and building what will become long-term relationships with prospects to continue company growth, increase revenue, and improve profits.

This role is ideal for emerging sales professionals with some experience as an SDR/BDR, eager to elevate their career in SaaS Sales and work with Enterprise clients.


This is a fully remote opportunity, supporting our US operations based in Miami, Florida. This role is open to applicants based anywhere in the continental United States.


In this role, you can expect to:

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through targeted outbound and inbound campaigns using telephone, email, and the web - you’ll be able to build creative outbound campaigns and iterate to find what is most effective

  • Support the Sales Managers and broader sales team, within an assigned territory by conducting a high volume of prospecting for open leads (our BDRs aren’t shy about picking up the phone)

  • Set qualified meetings for assigned Sales Managers, based on set criteria

  • Become a product expert and partner with Sales Managers to consult the best-customized solutions to meet prospective customers’ communication needs

  • Build rapport and work effectively with a robust cross-functional team to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations

  • Clients experience multiple contacts in their journey with us, so it is in our DNA to work together across Project Management, Creative, Customer Success, Operations, and Sales departments

  • Work effectively in a fully remote setting; all of your colleagues are only a video call away, but your daily commute will be to your home office

  • Enjoy the thrill of hunting and prospecting and a “do-whatever-it-takes” mentality



You are a good fit if you are/have:

  • A strong business and sales acumen, positive attitude and are an approachable, professional relationship builder ready to make an impact

  • 1-2 years of experience as a top performer in a client-facing role, quota-carrying role

  • Understand that timing is everything; there is no standard sales cycle for our products - some prospects are ready to buy right away, while others need more time

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable speaking with prospective clients of all levels, including C-level executives

  • An agile working style, open to adopting evolving simpleshow practices and technology - you sell it and we will deliver it with the utmost customer service and client satisfaction!

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, Management, or another related field (relevant work experience can be considered in lieu of a degree)

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Google Workspace, Excel, and other word-processing tools

  • Prior knowledge of SalesForce or another CRM is preferred

  • Experience using Sales Engagement and Sales intel software like SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.

  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and time-management skills

 

You'll have an edge if:

  • You have prior experience working as a BDR, SDR, Sales & Marketing Coordinator with a SaaS or related company

  • Or prior experience selling technology, SaaS, E-Learning, or other related services

Our targeted Base Salary Range for this position is $42,000 - 60,000. Additionally, compensation for our BDRs includes a commission/bonus structure. The base salary range listed is for candidates located in the U.S., including the New York City metro area. This range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, rather, salary is set based on experience and could fall outside of this range. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to; experience, specialized skills, internal alignment, and working location.
