Bakery Supervisor
Reports to: Owner
Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday
We are looking for a Bakery Supervisor to lead our team with a passion for hospitality, teamwork, and operational excellence. This role is crucial in maintaining The Snackery's welcoming atmosphere while ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with company standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Culture
- Foster a positive, inspiring, and respectful work environment.
- Lead and develop a strong Counter Staff and Back of House team.
- Train, cross-train, and provide ongoing feedback to employees.
- Encourage open communication and teamwork.
- Uphold The Snackery’s hospitality standards to ensure every guest feels valued and cared for.
Operations & Service Excellence
- Oversee daily bakery operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company procedures.
- Manage weekly scheduling and labor costs.
- Direct the team in maintaining and improving service, food, and beverage standards.
- Ensure seamless front-of-house operations, including:
- -Guest service and issue resolution
- -Quality control
- -Cleanliness and sanitation compliance
- -Efficient service flow
- -Monitor product levels and maintain portion control.
- -Maintain compliance with all Department of Health procedures.
- -Regularly review and update operational checklists and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a bakery, café, or food service setting.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Basic proficiency in email, Google Sheets/Excel, and POS systems.
- Hands-on leadership approach with a focus on customer service and team development.
- A positive attitude and a passion for creating a warm, guest-focused environment.
