The Dining Room Manager is responsible for the management of the dining rooms, bars, and room service to Residents and their guests. This position assures a high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in personnel and cleanliness of dining rooms.

The Dining Room Manager is responsible for the management of the dining rooms, bars, and room service to Residents and their guests. This position assures a high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in personnel and cleanliness of dining rooms.
Responsibilities
- Schedules personnel and plans dining room setup based upon anticipated guest counts, reservations and resident needs
- Supervises dining room staff to help ensure proper service; pours coffee and takes orders when necessary, always maintaining a presence on the dining room floor during peak business hours
- Hires, trains, develops, supervises, and evaluates dining room staff in line with Springs trainings and standards
- Serves as a liaison between the dining room and kitchen staff
- Supervises the meal ordering system
- Assures all side-work is accomplished and that all cleaning of equipment and storage areas is completed according to schedule
- Ensures necessary supervisory and staff coverage is in place for holidays and all special events
- At least 5 years’ experience in High-Volume & Fine-Dining Restaurant Management
- Familiarity with bar operations & alcohol service
- Proven leadership skills
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, residents, employees, and the general public
- Proficient PC skills including e-mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, etc.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
