Behavioral Health Unit Manager – RN Key Responsibilities: Lead daily operations of the Behavioral Health Unit, including staffing, patient flow, and service delivery Develop and maintain high-quality treatment programs and departmental policies Manage budgeting, strategic planning, and performance improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards Recruit, mentor, and supervise clinical and administrative staff Collaborate with Medical Director and leadership to support organizational goals Qualifications: BSN required; Post-graduate degree preferred Active RN license in Montana Minimum 5 years of behavioral health leadership or management experience BLS, SECURE (or equivalent), and Mental Health First Aid certifications required Epic experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and team-building skills Skills & Aptitudes: Ability to lead change, improve processes, and promote a just culture Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Commitment to patient safety, staff development, and regulatory compliance Professional, collaborative, and empathetic leadership style
