This position will be responsible for answering incoming telephone calls. They will reroute/ transfer calls appropriately. They will document any messages to medical providers in each client’s charts and tag the appropriate person to review. They will schedule clients in the appropriate clinics. They will be responsible for explaining and completing the eligibility determination to clients. They will verify client’s insurance. Once eligibility is determined they will assist clients who are eligible for pregnancy Medicaid, Primary Care, Family Planning Services, Ryan White Services, The Florida Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program, State Insulin program, and State Epilepsy program. Print out shot records from Florida Shots. This position will be responsible for receiving and sending records from outside providers. They will initiate signed consent when appropriate. They will process subpoenas for records and all other records request. They will be responsible for scanning all records in patient’s charts and tagging the appropriate medical provider for any lab results and diagnostic testing results, when appropriate. The incumbent will be responsible for operating and keeping up the Efaxes for medical records, referrals, and vitals when needed. They will use copier, scanner, and shredder in conjunction with daily duties
