PERSONNEL TECHNICIAN III – 70122024
This advertisement is for an OPS position located at Central Office in the Office of Human Resources Non-Security Recruitment Team.
Salary Rate: $18.00 hourly
SALARY WILL BE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT PAY POLICY.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This is a specialized clerical/data entry work which requires independent decision-making responsibility.
- Interacts with the public and staff in a tactful and courteous manner by responding to questions, interpreting rules, regulations, policies and procedures, and practices. Refer questions as needed to the team leads and supervisors.
- Reviews, analyzes, and prepares advertisement drafts for the review and approval of Human Resource Consultants and Supervisors statewide.
- Enters information daily into a SharePoint data base consisting of advertisement request, approvals, postings, and re-postings.
- Provides clerical/data entry support to the entire non security recruitment team. Serves as backup to other staff in their related duties as deemed appropriate.
- Assists supervisor with public records request and retention.
- Enters records into the Axiom data base daily.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of general office procedures and practices.
- Knowledge of correct grammar usage.
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to prepare reports and correspondence.
- Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work activities.
- Ability to develop and implement office procedures.
- Ability to review data for accuracy and completeness.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetical calculations.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Two years of clerical/secretarial experience. (Experience must be documented in your resume and attached for verification. Failure to reflect required years’ experience may result in no interview being offered.)
- Must be willing to work in office Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in State of Florida’s People First system.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Suite applications.
- Experience in Human Resources.
