What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Enterprise Architect position at The Steely Group?
Enterprise Architect shall be able to assist establishing an Enterprise Architecture framework that visibly link IT decisions to Business Strategies and Objectives by providing insight into how IT Services / IT Systems underpins Business Capabilities.
Responsibilities :
Identify, establish, and assess current business capabilities and link IT Services / IT Systems / Technologies supporting those capabilities
Using service-now CMDB as a source, prepare the application / technology inventory list and attributes such as the cost to build and maintain the application, the business value produced, the quality of the application, and the expected lifespan
Support enterprise architecting work. Focus area : Application Portfolio management and Business IT alignment
Data curation from system owner, load data in Enterprise architecture tool
Process Mapping
Business System Analysis
Gather relevant industry standards, best practices Requirements / Qualifications :
10 years of relevant experience
Experienced in Business Capability Mapping (Preferably pharmaceutical or Life science vertical)
Experienced in Process mapping, value analysis, gap analysis
Preferably TOGAF certified professionals
Sound reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving aptitude; Detail oriented.
Proven experience collaborating with others, including employees and contractors
Ability to learn new technologies
Effective communication skills (written and oral)
Effective and independent problem-solving skills
Great team player
