The Role
As a Production Superintendent / Snr Production Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of the production department, overseeing day-to-day operations and driving continuous improvement. You will lead a team of supervisors ensuring production goals are met efficiently and safely.
Your leadership will be critical in fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence. You will manage employee performance, develop talent, and promote a modern manufacturing mindset that values lean processes and proactive change management.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and develop a production team to achieve daily and weekly production targets. Conduct daily huddles to ensure team alignment on safety, quality, and productivity goals.
- Change Management: Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles. Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and sanitation.
- Employee Safety & Well-being: Collaborate with the Health & Safety team to lead and improve safety programs. Serve as an on-site safety representative, investigating incidents and recommending corrective actions.
- Operational Excellence: Leverage your leadership experience to administer collective bargaining agreements, balance labor costs, and maintain production schedules.
- Compliance & Quality: Oversee and ensure adherence to safety, food safety, and quality programs. Support internal and external audits, ensuring all standards and certifications are upheld.
- Budgeting & Planning: Assist the Production Manager in creating department budgets and setting long-term operational goals.
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for a leader with strong organizational and communication skills, someone who can balance the demands of daily production while fostering a culture of innovation and safety.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in modern manufacturing principles, passionate about change management, and capable of leading through influence, with a track record of leading other supervisors/managers previously.
Preferred:
- 3 years of supervisory/managerial experience within manufacturing - preferable high volume products - ideally food manufacturing
- People centric with development skill, you enjoy seeing other succeed

Salary : $90,000 - $97,000
