What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School Program Team Member position at The Steward School?
The Steward School seeks an After School Team Member to join our team of dedicated individuals providing exceptional care for our middle and lower school students for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a 10-month, part-time, non-benefited position reporting to the Director of Auxiliary Programs, with working hours are from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m., Monday - Friday and occasional half days (generally 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.).
The successful candidate for this opening will have:
- A positive attitude,
- Dynamic skills in a team-based environment,
- A sense of humor,
- A genuine love of school aged children.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree or a candidate completing Education coursework is preferred,
- 1-3 years relevant experience.
Job responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in the After School program.
- Promote positive social interactions.
- Assist with Homework and study time
