What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Construction Superintendent position at The Stewart/Perry Company?
Stewart/Perry is currently seeking experienced construction superintendents for commercial construction and remodel projects.

Our project superintendents and our project managers work as a team to ensure quality services for our client. They coordinate and supervise work on site including subcontractor activity, safety, and scheduling. Superintendents interact with our clients regularly and are vital to a project’s success.
We give a great deal of autonomy to superintendents as professionals, and value both collaboration and leadership. Stewart/Perry places an emphasis on long-term relationships with our field team and our customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Advocates for safety on site counting this as the top priority
- Treats project managers and other Stewart/Perry team members as partners working toward common goals
- Maintains records as required
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
- Interface with project inspectors, subcontractors, city and county officials, and clients
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading a commercial or multifamily construction
- Capable of reading and accurately following through on architectural and engineering drawings
- Reasonable knowledge of safety and OSHA guidelines
- Ability to communicate effectively with teams
- Familiarity with construction management software
- Strong leadership qualities
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Displays solid customer service skills
