What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Planner position at The Structures Company?
General Summary :
The Manufacturing Engineering Planner is responsible for all planning functions for the fabrication and installation of detail parts and assemblies to the aircraft by creating visual and written work instructions for multiple systems and structures and maintaining the build sequence of the aircraft.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Plan sequence of installation, assembly, fabrication, and other production operations to ensure efficiency and on-time delivery of work instructions.
- Utilizing Teamcenter, maintain the master build sequence of the aircraft adjusting the build sequence as required to maintain efficiencies, create visual work instructions, incorporate cost reductions, and eliminate unnecessary disassembly, travelled work, and non-conformances related to planning.
- Create planning for engineering driven changes against obsolete parts in-stock, as directed by leadership
- Create and maintain the master MBOMs
- Support Corrective Action investigations and resolutions
- Support addressing issues with planning affecting the issuance of the Certificate of Airworthiness against the aircraft
