What You’ll Be Doing
As a Group Facilitator, you’ll lead dynamic, engaging therapeutic groups to support patients in their recovery and healing. Your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating psychoeducation groups, process groups, anxiety relief sessions, art therapy groups, meditation sessions, and/ or educational workshops on mental health and recovery.
- Creating a safe, supportive environment where patients feel comfortable sharing and learning.
- Collaborating with the clinical team to align group content with patients’ individualized treatment plans.
- Adjusting group topics and techniques based on patient needs and engagement.
- Maintaining accurate records of group participation and outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking skilled professionals with a talent for leading impactful group sessions. The ideal candidate will:
- Have prior experience facilitating groups in behavioral health, mental health, or substance use recovery settings.
- Be familiar with group therapy techniques, evidence-based practices, and holistic approaches such as mindfulness and art therapy.
- Be a confident, engaging communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Be flexible, professional, and empathetic in approach.
- Live locally or be willing to relocate to Cumming, GA, or the surrounding area.
