Position Summary
The Tranzonic Companies are looking for talented and competitive BDRs that thrive in a quick sales cycle in a B2B environment. Our BDRs play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales. The Business Development Rep is responsible for growing their territories through internal and external leads, referrals, and cultivating current customers through building business relationships and wowing our customers at every opportunity.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Develop sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
- Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas.
- Maintain and expand database of prospects within your assigned territory.
- Convert sales leads and generate new business with existing customers by uncovering customer needs and recommending products.
- Collaborate with team members and management to determine strategic sales approaches.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints immediately in consultation with the Inside Sales Manager, as necessary.
- Maintain customer information and document activities in CRM.
- Attend periodic sales training, meetings, product demos, etc.
