Retail Store Leader for The Ultimate Party Store in HAMMOND
We are looking for a leader that has the following qualities:
The ability to make difficult decisions, get everyone on board, give feedback on a regular basis, communicate clearly, gain and hold trust, stay positive, and listen.
Responsible for Leading, Planning, and directing the entire store team. Accountable for financial performance, staffing, and inventory management.
Leads all store processes in accordance with company standards including freight flow, merchandise presentation, reconciliation of all sales, cash and inventory transactions and customer service. Owns associate training and development and succession planning.
This person will lead, motivate and inspire employees to create a customer first atmosphere resulting in a memorable and positive customer experience.
Oversees and drives staffing efforts in the store, including interviewing, selection, hiring, training, and performance of all employees.
Serves as Manager on Duty including opening and closing the store.
Provides leadership and direction to floor associates and ensures merchandising and customer service standards are continuously met.
Responsible for the scheduling and payroll processing in the store.
Maintain a neat, clean and organized store at all times.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 3 to 5 years management experience required.
Must have good business acumen.
Proven ability to effectively lead, coach and manage others in a professional environment.
Availability to work a variable schedule of at least 40 hours per week, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Demonstrated visual merchandising skills required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,500.00 - $67,500.00 per year
