We have an immediate need for an Assistant Property Manager to join the team at College Suites at City Station, one of United Group’s professionally managed student housing communities located in Troy, NY.

Major Tasks Key Responsibilities:
- Assists the Property Manager with daily operations activities, including preparing Accounts Payables, month end reporting, budget and variances, and sales / leasing
- Responsible for Marketing/Leasing activities, including daily/weekly reporting, preparation of flyers/materials, attending tabling/marketing events, preparing lease up move-in packets, assists with regular market surveys, and community outreach
- Responsible for assisting with rent collection process, move in/move out processes, collaboration with Maintenance Supervisor on work orders, apartment turns, and physical repairs/improvements as needed
- Assists with updating social media accounts
- Ability to assist and handle resident issues, requests, and emergencies
- Ensures Owners' goals and objectives are aligned with property operations
Job Overview Requirements:
- Job Type: Assistant Property Manager; $24 per hour, plus Bonus Program
- Work Hours: Full Time - Monday through Friday (weekends required as needed)
- Training for Position: Supervisory experience with both leasing and maintenance staff
- Physical Requirements: Light lifting and carrying
- Required Education: College Degree or Applicable Work History
- Required Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in residential property management, preferred experience in student housing market; Entrata experience
- Certifications: Professional designations, i.e. Accredited Residential Manager (ARM), or equivalent industry designation preferred.
- Qualities: Demonstrates integrity on a personal and professional level; Strong time management skills; Exceptional communication, sales, negotiation, and leadership skills; Ability to multi-task and solve problems involving residents, maintenance, and challenging situations
