What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Instructor position at The University of Iowa?
CIMBA Italy Programs is a study abroad program that is dedicated to international business education based out of the University of Iowa. CIMBA seeks an Adjunct Instructor to teach in the summer through the Tippie College of Business in Paderno del Grappa, Italy. Appointment dates run from September- December 2024.
Candidates would be selected based on their ability to teach the courses in Business Law, listed on the CIMBA Italy website.
Candidates must possess the following required qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in the specific course content areas
- Willingness and ability to relocate to Italy for the duration of the course
- Faculty member at a CIMBA consortium university
The primary responsibilities will include developing and facilitating course content that contributes to the Tippie College of Business’s AACSB accreditation and is aligned with national standards in business education. The instructor will need to be able to work with ICON, the University of Iowa online platform, providing readings, activities, and discussions, at a minimum.
