Responsibilities And Essential Job Functions
- Coordinate and oversee special projects as requested by the Sterile Processing Manager
- Coordinate the cleaning of Sterile Processing equipment area
- Demonstrates ability to provide care/service safely and efficiently for patient care.
- Maintain inventory of supplies needed to accomplish duties
- Operates the washer/decontaminator
- Pick-up and drop off all Materials Management equipment and deliver to correct area(s)
- Proactively communicates with the Distribution Manager to ensure timely cleaning and replenishment of all Materials Management equipment, to include fans, case carts, isolation carts, code carts, commodes, walkers, wagons, pumps and all other necessary equipment to accomplish the mission of Materials Management
- Serves as the Sterile Processing representative to all Hospital units
- Wears protective gear while performing duties
- Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

- High School Graduate or equivalent/GED
- Janitorial or environmental services experience
