Job Information
The department of Human Resources is seeking a student worker to assist in the area of data operations.
Examples of Work Performed:
- Assists with onboarding new student employees
- Gains experience navigating the University’s ERP system (SAP)
- Verifies data in SAP and assists with data cleanup projects
- Builds a working knowledge of the University’s organizational structure and workflow
- Provides support in multiple functional areas in HR
- General knowledge navigating Excel and managing spreadsheets
- Begins to develop a current knowledge of HR laws and regulations; research topics as needed
- Develops a working knowledge of HR information databases and searchable resources
- Provides front-desk support; responds to inquiries and requests
- Runs errand on campus
- Cultivates interpersonal skills
- Fosters time management skills
- Maintains a satisfied level of customer service
- Works proactively with other team members
- Prioritizes activities for the best interest of the team when working on joint projects
- Openly shares new ideas and information with other team members
Minimum Education/Experience:
- Proven teamwork, collaboration, and customer focus
- Demonstrated commitment to personal growth
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Basic project management and process improvement skills
- Demonstrated initiative
Hourly Pay Rate: $9.00/hour
