The Department of Pediatrics is looking for a Research Engineering Scientist Assistant. This is a one-year fixed term position, renewable based upon availability of funding, work performance, and progress toward research goals.
Purpose
To assist NIH-funded research project and to perform wet-lab experiments.
Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree with some wet lab experience.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Salary Range
$32,000 depending on qualifications

- Perform tissue culture including organoid culture and related molecular and biochemical analysis.
- Assist with mouse maintenance and experiments (colony management, embryo collection, genotyping).
- Miscellaneous work (including checking lab inventory and package management).
- Other related duties as assigned.
